We have just finished deciding on our next production. After a few weeks of reading we are going to be performing "Don't Get Your Vicars in a Twist" by Ann Gawthorpe and Lesley Bowm. Casting takes place next Tuesday. Full information will be posted next week!
Rehearsals are well under way for the Monkton Players Spring production ‘Love and Money’, a comedy by Raymond Hopkins. Derek and Pauline Felton have been married for ages and life has been passing by fairly smoothly until they return home one evening to find that their house has been burgled. Derek, who has always had a materialistic outlook on life, decides that their new house insurance will yield a lucrative pay out. Pauline becomes increasingly unhappy about his subsequent course of actions. Joyce, their next door neighbour, has witnessed the robbery and calls in daily to offer support, advice and unwelcome comments.
