Play Reading Starts Tuesday 18 November!
It’s that time again — we’re starting preparations for our Spring 2026 production!
Play readings begin Tuesday 18 November as we look ahead to our next comedy, which will take to the stage from Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 April 2026 at West Monkton Village Hall, Taunton (TA2 8NE).
Each Tuesday evening over the next few weeks, we’ll be reading through a selection of scripts at one of our members’ homes before choosing our next show. It’s always a relaxed, friendly way to get involved — with plenty of laughs along the way!
We’re a welcoming, local amateur dramatics group with no auditions, and there are lots of ways to take part — from performing and prompting to helping backstage, building sets, managing sound and lighting, or supporting front of house.
If you’ve ever thought about joining The Monkton Players, now is the perfect time.
